Technology Public Relations Firm
Technology Public Relations Firm
Technology is ubiquitous. From the moment we wake up, technology greets us in its many forms and ushers us throughout our day. At AXIA, we’ve embraced technology. We stay abreast of every Facebook update, every tweet, every LinkedIn connection and every other possible way to use technology to connect our clients to their customers. Technology has dramatically impacted the way public relations messages are crafted, executed and received, which is why AXIA’s tech PR experts wake up each day with a keen eye on tomorrow’s trends…that usually arrive today!
Technology Industry Profile
The market for IT professionals is the fastest growing in the U.S. economy. Since 2000, there has been a trend of outsourcing IT jobs, but that trend may be reversing. American firms may bring jobs back to the U.S. to improve service levels and profit margins. However, outsourcing will not disappear. Companies expect that using offshore employees will result in 24/7 operational ability and access to talent that may not be available in the U.S.
What Will Tomorrow’s Technology Bring?
Technology trends sometimes move faster than the speed of light. Today’s Twitter is tomorrow’s has-been. AXIA’s public relations professionals are knowledgeable about developing effective news stories that get results in not only traditional media, but also the evolving social media arena. Some of the latest technology industry trends include:
- The need to access data 24/7 on a variety of mobile devices is increasing exponentially. “Cloud computing” is a way for small- to medium-sized businesses to access enterprise-class technology with minimal upfront costs and easy scalability. Because “cloud computing” allows a large number of networked computer systems to share an IT infrastructure, operating “in the cloud” helps business owners who were previously limited by the capabilities of local or remote computers.
- Business intelligence software is a hot topic in companies of all sizes.
- Open-source software, meaning the co-creation or distributed creation by vendors who contribute to the software development process, is quickly becoming a valuable way to reduce IT costs.
- Yes, even computers get old and need life support! End-of-life support for aging technology hardware and software may be a lucrative new business source for some firms.
AXIA Delivers Results
Every day, the AXIA public relations team is researching the massive technology industry and its trends. We understand the business of technology, and we know how to publicize it. Building brand awareness goes hand-in-hand with other public relations efforts, which is what AXIA did for MPS Group.
With the Super Bowl coming to town, the AXIA professionals knew the timing was perfect to build brand awareness for Modis, the flagship brand of the Fortune 1000 company MPS Group.
Despite having the most prominent signage atop a high-rise building in Jacksonville’s skyline, the firm had limited recognition outside its
industry. To help build the brand, AXIA’s public relations team wrote a dynamic news release about Modis’ plans to capitalize on the media attention and the company’s exposure during the Super Bowl. The objective was to garner three significant
media hits, but AXIA delivered much more, including interviews and coverage of company officials by Gannett News Service and Florida Today, three front-page articles in The
Florida Times-Union, and features in the Jacksonville Business Journal and Economic Outlook magazine. In all, AXIA’s earned media coverage for MPS Group and Modis totaled $80,100 during the Super Bowl festivities.
Our work in the technology space includes additional clients such as HP, Beeline, Idea Integration, Logical Business Systems, Tarmac, Zassi Medical Evolutions, eZassi, Goriffic, Blue Cross and Blue Shield’s Enterprise Deployment, FIS, Rayonier, WebEx and others.
So, if your technology news needs a good tweet, give AXIA a call today. We will be sure you are linked up by tomorrow.
