PR Firm increases Brightway Insurance’s call volume by 300%

Brightway Insurance is Florida’s fastest-growing independent insurance agency with 39 offices serving 30,000 households across the state. In January 2009, State Farm exited Florida’s home insurance market. So, Brightway called on its public relations agency of record, AXIA Public Relations Firm, to position the company as a leading expert on the effect of this announcement on Florida’s homeowners. As a result of AXIA’s work, Brightway Insurance President and CEO David Miller was an expert guest on Florida Public Radio including stations such as WJCT, WFSU and WOKV. In addition, the company provided commentary to The Miami Herald, Jacksonville Business Journal, The (Jacksonville) Florida Times-Union and other publications. The result: Brightway’s call volume increased by 300 percent those two weeks, according to its chief operations officer Michael Miller, and it saw a return of more than five times its PR investment in news coverage.
