Eric C. Cravey
National Public Relations Director
Eric Cravey is the director of national public relations for AXIA Public Relations where he oversees strategic national public relations and media relations for AXIA clients. Cravey comes to AXIA with 18 years’ experience as a writer and public relations counselor.
Cravey, a former news reporter and technology columnist, has won awards in public relations, newspaper reporting and radio news. In 2005, the Jacksonville chapter of the Florida Public Relations Association honored Cravey with an Image Award of Distinction. The Jacksonville Chapter of the Florida Public Relations Association also honored Cravey with its annual “Rising Star” award in 2004. He also won an “Excellence in News Reporting” award from the Florida Press Club and United Press International named him the Georgia “Stringer of the Year” in 1989.
Cravey holds a bachelor of arts in mass communications from the University of West Georgia and is currently working on a master of fine arts in writing at Spalding University in Louisville, Ky. where he was as an assistant editor of The Louisville Review.
