David E. Strupp

David E. Strupp is the national public relations manager for AXIA Public Relations, where he works in Tampa Bay, Florida with the growing public relations firm’s national clients. Strupp comes to AXIA Public Relations with a background in health care, journalism and public relations. Previously, he worked as a newspaper editor, covering healthcare for The Jacksonville Business Journal, marketing Brooks Health System and with another public relations firm. Strupp excels working with award-winning teams.

Strupp attended the University of North Florida, graduating with a bachelor’s degree in communications with a political science minor. Having a strong passion for writing and a keen interest in news, Strupp dove headfirst into journalism during his college years and eventually was named editor-in-chief of the campus newspaper, which was awarded Best In Show at the National College Media Convention for its recent redesign, which Strupp spearheaded.

Several news outlets have published Strupp’s writings and he is involved with several charities. In his spare time, he enjoys playing soccer and golf, traveling, boating, playing guitar and spending time with his family in Tampa, Florida.
